GO! es una banda de Hardcore de Nueva York, nacidos a finales de los 80’s, muy activos en la escena de los primero 90’s, la segunda ola NYHC mas underground, coetaneos de bandas como Bad Trip, Rorschach, Born Against Supertouch, Lethal Agression, In your face o Citizens Arrest, con los que solían compartir cartel en salas como la mítica ABC no Rio. Mike, su cantante, editaba el fanzine Bullshit Monthly, y además, fue el primer gay en hacer pública su condición sexual en la escena NYHC.
En su primera etapa editaron una demo, 7 e.p.’s , y dos álbumes recopilatorios, separándose en 1991. Entre 2006 y 2011 volvieron a la carga, editaron dos e.p.’s, y dieron algunos conciertos.
Ahora en 2024 verá la luz un nuevo álbum, con los temas de los e.p.’s de la segunda etapa, mas un directo en una emisora de radio con un sonido genial!

El álbum que nos ocupa “ Impact” recopila los dos últimos Ep´s de la banda, “Reactive” del año 2006 y “What we build together” del año 2007, 23 temas de estudio de su última época. Además, este trabajo incluye 16 temas extraídos de un directo en la emisora de radio WFMU del año 2006, con un sonido genial!. Sólo HARD CORE.

GO! is a Hardcore band from New York, born in the late 80's, very active in the scene of the first 90's, the second wave NYHC, contemporaries of bands like Bad Trip, Rorschach, Born Against Supertouch, Lethal Agression, In your face or Citizens Arrest, with whom they used to share stage in venues such as the legendary ABC no Rio. Mike, their singer, edited the fanzine Bullshit Monthly, and was also the first gay to make his sexual status public on the NYHC scene.
In their first stage they released a demo, 7 e.p.'s, and two compilation albums, breaking up in 1991. Between 2006 and 2011 they returned to the fray, released two e.p.'s, and gave some concerts.

This album “Impact” compiles the band's last two EPs, “Reactive” from 2006 and “What we build together” from 2007, 23 studio songs from their last era. In addition, this work includes 16 songs taken from a live performance on the WFMU radio station in 2006, with a great sound!. HARD CORE only.
